Efficacy of Shenyikang Capsule combined with losartan potassium in treatment of chronic nephritis

Objective To investigate the efficacy of Shenyikang Capsule combined with losartan potassium in treatment of chronic nephritis. Methods A total of 98 patients with chronic nephritis were divided into control group and observation group, with 49 cases in each group. Patients of two groups were given routine symptomatic treatment, the control group was given losartan potassium, and the observation group was treated with Shenyikang Capsule based on the control group. The clinical efficacy, renal function and immune indexes were compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05). After treatment, serum albumin(ALB), estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)and urine volume at 24 h in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and serum creatinine(Scr)and urine protein level were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Shenyikang Capsule combined with losartan potassium in treatment of chronic nephritis has ideal efficacy, and it can improve renal function and promote the outcomes of disease.
