Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of conbercept combined with atorvastatin in the treatment of hyperlipidemia complicated with diabetic macular edema. Methods Totally 94 type 2 diabetes patients complicated with hyperlipidemia, non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy, macular edema, and macular hard exudation were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 47 cases in each group. The control group was treated with laser photocoagulation, while the observation group was treated with intravitreal injection of conbercept combined with oral taken atorvastatin calcium tablets. The levels of total cholesterol(TC), triglycerides(TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)before treatment and 6 months after treatment were compared between two groups, and changes in macular edema, exudation and visual acuity were analyzed. Results After treatment, the levels of TC, TG and LDL-C in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, while the HDL-C level was significantly higher than that before treatment, and the levels of TC, TG and LDL-C in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the HDL-C level was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, macular edema, macular hard exudation and best corrected visual acuity were improved in both groups, and these indexes in the observation group were significantly better than the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Intravitreal injection of conbercept combined with oral taken atorvastatin calcium tablets can effectively improve blood lipid metabolism, reduce degrees of macular edema and macular hard exudation, and - improve visual acuity.
