Research progress of intestinal microecological therapy in the treatment of liver cirrhosis

  • Cirrhosis of the liver has insidious onset and slow course, which seriously affects human life and health. The occurrence and development of liver cirrhosis is related to the imbalance of intestinal microecology. Regulating the imbalance of intestinal flora and promoting the recovery of intestinal microecology can effectively improve the liver cirrhosis and related complications. Exploring the relationship between intestinal microecological changes and liver cirrhosis, and regulating intestinal flora disorders in the treatment of liver cirrhosis are of great significance to delay the progression of the disease. In this paper, the application of intestinal microecological therapy for liver cirrhosis was reviewed in order to provide theoretical basis for the clinical use of intestinal microecological therapy in the treatment of cirrhosis.
