Abstract
Experimental intracerehral hemorrage: Effect on regional cerehra blood flow- By usingthe Tnodel of expcrimerrltal lCH injected fresh nonheparinized autologous arterial blood intothe caudate nucleus of the rat, and hy hydrogen c1earance method to measurs regional cerebral hlood flow (rCBF), Weinvestigated the changes of rCBF in caudate nucleus, thalamus and frontal cortex with in 24 hours of experimental hemorrhage. ln this research we could come to the conclusion that: There was a trend showing anincrease in the area and duration of ischemia with higher injection volumes. The degree of rCBF reductionin the remote frontal lobe distant from the area around the hematoma was more evident in thalamic than incaudate hemorrhage.
