SURGICAL TREATMENT OF THE PRIMARY ACHALASIA 0F THE GASTRIC CARDIA

  • Treatment of the primary achalasia of the gastric cardia with surgery operation in 10cases was reported. Eight patients have been treated by Heller's myotomy and three patients by esophagogastroanastomosis. Four patients in this series have been treated by additi0nal pyloroplasty. It indicatedthat the classification of clinical type Ⅰ - Ⅲ of Olsen wlth Heller's operation and type Ⅳ with esophagogastroanastomosis are practicable. It is discussed that the methods and incision of operation, whether to addpyloroplasty are related to fhe operative results.
