Abstract
Ninety cases of posthepatitic cirrhosis have been chosen and randomly divided intothree groups in order to observe the influence of ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI) on the microcirculationand 1iver function. The changes of nail fold microcirculation, serum bilirubin (SB), albumin (Alb) andalanine transaminase (ALT) were observed after DANSHEN (Radix Sadix Miltiorrhizae) and ultravioletbIood irradiation (UBI) had been added to use. The results showed that the nail fold microcirculation of patients treated with DANSHEN and UBI had been greatly improved- There was a striking difference compared with the control group (p 0. 001 ). The liver fuction of patients treated with UBI had been greatlyimproved and a striking difference had been found compared to the control group and the group treatedwith DANSHEN (p 0. 05). We conclude that UBI is a gdri treatment in improving the microcirculationand liver function.
