STUDY OF INJURY MECHANISM AND DIAGNOSIS WITH TREATMENT IN FEMORAL SHAFT FRACTURES ASSOCIATED WITH IPSILATERAL PATELLA FRACTURES

  • 17 cases of femoral shaft fractures were analysed. The common causes were high energy and high speed injury- The most common cause was the injury of motorbicycle. The prevention of theneglected or misdiagnosed patella fractures and the treatment 0f femoral shaft fractures associated with ipsi-lateral patella fractures were discussed.
