Abstract
Seventy one patients with cardiac arrest were divided into three gr0ups according todifferent doses epinephrine (intravenous infusion, burst) during CPR. The results showed that the recoveryrates of high-dose epinephrine group (0.1mg/kg/time) were 7O. 33% in heart beat, 62. 50% in bloodpressure, 4l. 67% in respiration. The recovery rates were significantly higher than those of low-doseepinephrine gr0up (0. 5- 1. 0mg/time) (P . O5), but high-does epinephrine gr0up and middledose epinephrine group (1. 0mg/first-O. lmg/kg/time) were similar in the recovery rates- The survivalrate of high-dose epinephrine group was significantly higher than that of the three groups (33. 33M, vsl 2%, vs 9. 09 %, P 0.05 )- it is suggested that the use of high-dose epinephrine in earlier cardiac arrestcan improve the prognosis.
