RESEARCH ON INVITRO FERTILIZATION AND EMBRYO TRANSFER IN SUBEI PEOPLE'S HOSPITAL OF JIANGSU PROVINCE

The research on IVF - ET was carried out in the summer of 1996 in Subei People'sHospital. Firstly, success was achieved on mice which led to much experience gained from the laboratory.Then, in June 1997 the technology was performed on human being, producing one case of ectopic pregnancy- After further exploration, several cases of intrauterine pregnancies were produced. Till now, IVF - ET has been carried on 13 cases for 15 cycles, resulting one case of ectopic pregnancy, three cases of intrauterine pregnancies. Due to divection from the Reproducing Centre of the Anxiliary Hospital of Zhongshan Medical University, selective embryotomy was facilitated on one quadrupleted embryo and one tripleted embryo which were of intrauterine pregnancy in their early stages. At present time, these embryoes arestill in the process of pregnancy.
