THE TREATMENT OF ZYGOMA AND ZYGOMATIC ARCHFRACTURES THROUGH SEMI-CORONAL INCISION

Objective: The clinical significance of semi-coronal incision in the treatment of zygoma and zygomatic arch fractures is studied in this article. Methods:Ninepathents had been operated through semi-coronal incision, the advan-tages and complications of the incision were analysed. Results: The semi-coronal incision has the advantages as follows: (1).It gives the widest exposure of the fracture line. (2).It can reduce the possibility of the injury of important tructure such as facial nerve. (3).The scars are concealed in the hair line. Condusion:The semi-coronal incision is a kind of good method in the treatment of zygome and zygomatic arch fractures.
