Abstract:
Objective To observe the effect of clinical pathway of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in treatment of children with bronchopneumonia.
Methods A total of 98 children with bronchopneumonia were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 49 cases in each group. The control group was given routine clinical management, while the observation group was given clinical pathway management of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. The clinical efficacy, hospital stay and total hospitalization expenses, application rate of traditional Chinese medicine treatments, application rate of antibiotics and improvement condition of clinical symptoms were compared between the two groups.
Results The total effective rate and application rate of traditional Chinese medicine treatments in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(
P<0.05), while the hospital stay and total hospitalization cost, the application rate of antibiotics and score of clinical symptoms were significantly lower than those in the control group(
P<0.05).
Conclusion Clinical pathway of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine is effective in the treatment of children with bronchopneumonia, which can enhance clinical efficacy, improve clinical symptoms, and reduce the use of antibiotics.
