The effect of individualized nursing on blood pressure control and prevention of adverse events in elderly patients with hypertension

Objective To study effect of individualized nursing on blood pressure control and prevention of adverse events in elderly patients with hypertension.Methods A total of 120 hypertensive patients were randomly divided into two groups according to random number table method,with 60 cases per group,the control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given individualized continued care.Blood pressure control,life quality after nursing and patients' nursing satisfaction were compared.Results Before treatment,systolic blood pressure and diastolic pressure were (148.9 ± 8.5) mmHg,(97.6 ± 5.2) mmHg in the observation group,and were (142.6 ± 7.1)mmHg and(86.5 ± 4.6)mmHg,respectively,in the control group,and the difference between two groups was not statistically significant(P ＞ 0.05).After nursing,systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in the observation group were significantly lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P ＜ 0.05).After nursing,there was no significant difference in BP,RP score in two groups (P ＞ 0.05),while PF,GH,SF,VT,MH,and RE in the observation group after nursing were significantly higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).,Satisfaction in observation group after treatment was significantly higher than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Individualized nursing in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension can prevent adverse events,and it is worth popularizing widely.
