Abstract
Objective To explore the application value of cluster nursing in neonatal mechanical ventilation. Methods A total of 80 mechanical ventilation neonates admitted to our hospital were selected as research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random chart method, given routine nursing and cluster nursing, respectively. The treatment time, blood gas index, nursing quality and complication rate of the two groups were compared. Results The duration of mechanical ventilation, length of ICU stay and total length of hospital stay in the observation group were shorter, the nursing quality score was higher, and the complication rate was lower than that of the control group, above indicators showed significant difference(P<0.05). The blood gas indexes of the two groups before nursing showed no difference(P>0.05), while the arterial oxygen partial pressure, arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure and pH value of the two groups after nursing showed significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusion Cluster nursing for mechanical ventilation in neonates can improve the blood gas index, enhance the quality of nursing, and prevent from ventilator-related pneumonia and other complications.
