Objective To observe the clinical effect of Shouwu Huoxue Granules combined with dual antiplatelet therapy in treatment of large atherosclerotic cerebral infarction (ATCI).
Methods A total of 127 ATCI patients were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group (63 cases, dual antiplatelet for treatment) and observation group (64 cases, Shouwu Huoxue granule combined dual antiplatelet for treatment), both groups were treated for 21 days; at the end of treatment, the efficacy of the two groups was evaluated and compared; the syndrome scores of the two groups were evaluated and compared before treatment and 21 days after treatment, the blood lipid levels and inflammatory indexes of the two groups were detected; the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment of two groups was recorded.
Results The overall efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the total effective rate was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); after 21 days of treatment, the syndrome scores, low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and C-reactive protein (CRP) levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05); the total incidence of adverse reactions of both groups showed no significant difference (P>0.05).
Conclusion The combination of Shouwu Huoxue Granules and dual antiplatelet in the treatment of ATCI patients has better effect, which reduce the levels of blood lipid and inflammatory indexes, and has high safety.
