  • Objective To explore the effect of clinical nursing pathway in patients with esophageal carcinoma operation.Methods 60 esophageal carcinoma patients with radical treatment were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 patients in each group. The control group was received routine nursing while the observation group was used clinical nurs-ing pathway.And nursing satisfaction,postoperative rehabilitation,score of health knowledge, anxiety were compared between the two groups.Results Health knowledge score after nursing in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group and the anxiety score was lower than that in the control group,so the difference was statistical significant (P <0.05). Eating time,complications and hospitalization time in the observation group were less than that in the control group and nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the control group.Thus,the dif-ference was statistical significant (P <0.05).Conclusion Clinical nursing pathway reflects pa-tient- based philosophy.It is conductive to promote the active participation of nursing for esophageal carcinoma patients,improve the health knowledge and accelerate the rehabilitation after operation.
