Abstract
Objective To investigate effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on neonatal hyperbilirubinemia and its effect on prognosis. Methods Seventy neonates with hyperbilirubinemia who were admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group according to nursing methods, given routine nursing intervention and comprehensive nursing intervention. The bilirubin concentration, jaundice regression time and long-term prognosis were compared between two groups after treatment. The physical and mental development after 1 year was compared. Results Compared with the control group, the effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05).The serum bilirubin concentration decreased significantly after 5 days of intervention and disappear time of jaundice was significantly shorten (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in height and body weight between the two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively cure neonatal children with hyperbilirubinemia, improve long-term prognosis of children, reduce the adverse effects of hyperbilirubinemia on the children's life, and is suitable for clinical application.
