Abstract

Objective To analyze the rules of drug use of Chinese medicinal patent formulas for the prevention and treatment of Coronavirus Disease 2019, and to provide reference for the development of related formulas of Chinese medicine and the application of related patent for invention.
Methods The relevant Chinese medicine patents were retrieved in the patent retrieval system, frequency analysis and classification of each herb were carried out, and the association network analysis of high frequency Chinese herbs in patent compositions was carried out.
Results A total of 46 traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions were screened and obtained, involving 124 traditional Chinese herbs, and the total frequency of use of traditional Chinese medicine were 552 times. There were 18 traditional Chinese herbs used more than 10 times, and there were 11 and 12 herbs in accordance with the two and three association rules, respectively.
Conclusion Traditional Chinese herbs with the functions of clearing heat, relieving exterior syndromes, relieving cough and eliminating phlegm, relieving asthma, reducing dampness are commonly used to prevent and treat Coronavirus disease 2019.
