Abstract

The causes of allergic reaction and rapid transient decline in platelets in an inpatient after 40 min using iodine contrast agent who underwent total abdominal enhanced CT examination were analyzed, and it may be caused by an allergy to iodixanol which is one of the contrast agents. This case provided early warning for clinic, and such cases should be actively prevented and treated clinically.
