Effect of self-made Jiedu Xiaoyong Decoction combined with external use of Lianchuang Shengji Powder in treatment of perianal abscess patients after surgery

Objective To observe effect of self-made Jiedu Xiaoyong Decoction combined with external use of Lianchuang Shengji Powder in treatment of perianal abscess patients after surgery. Methods A total of 80 patients with perianal abscess after surgery were divided into control group and study group, with 40 cases in each group. The patients in the control group received conventional antibiotics and mupiroxine external treatment, while the patients in the study group received self-made Jiedu Xiaoyong Decoction combined with external use of Lianchuang Shengji Powder for treatment. Total clinical efficacy rate, clinical performance score, serum inflammatory factors, immune function indicators and anal function indicators were observed. Results The total efficacy rate of clinical treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). The levels of interleukin-6(IL-6), interleukin-8(IL-8)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05); the anal resting pressure and maximum anal systolic pressure of patients in the study group were significantly better than those in the control group, while the severity score of fecal incontinence(Wexner score)was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Self-made Jiedu Xiaoyong Decoction combined with external use of Lianchuang Shengji Powder can effectively relieve anal pain of patients after perianal abscess operation, reduce inflammatory response, accelerate wound healing and promote anal function recovery.
